CC volleyball players named to NEIC all-conference teams

Five Charles City volleyball players made the Northeast Iowa Conference all-conference list for the 2015 season.

Senior Jamie Sindlinger and junior Katie Foster, the two attack and kill leaders for the Comets, joined company by being selected to the firstteam, all-conference. It was Sindlinger’s second-straight, first-team nomination and her third-straight year earning either first-team, second-team or honorable mention.

It was Foster’s second year being selected for an all-conference honor. Last season, she was named to the second-team, all-conference.

Sophomore Sydney Loeckle and senior Shay Carolan were named to the second-team, all-conference list this year.

Loeckle was the Comets’ leading assist scorer and Carolan the Comets’ main middle hitter this season. Carolan was an honorable mention in 2014.

Sophomore Tayler Schmidt was listed to the honorable mention list this season. The sophomore played libero for the Comets’ this season.
