The Floyd County Sheriff’s Office assisted with a roll-over incident in Nora Springs Monday morning.

The accident happened at 6:39 a.m. at North Boulder Avenue, according to the sheriff’s report.

Rosemary Rozinek, 88, from Nora Springs was going southbound and said she swerved to miss a dog that had run in front of her and she lost control.She struck a parked vehicle and rolled over, with her car coming to rest on its roof.

Rozinek was treated by Floyd County AMR at the scene for a minor injury and refused to be transported.

The property damaged totaled $7,000, the report said.
