Press Staff Report

The annual children’s Easter egg hunt will take place Saturday morning, but the location has been changed because of the weather.

The event, scheduled to begin at 10 a.m. Saturday, will be at the new gym at the Charles City High School because of snow and likely mud at Central Park.

The event is intended for children age 12 and under, and they will be divided into at least two age groups, according to Hy-Vee, the sponsor of the hunt.

The Easter Bunny will also be at the gym, as well as at a lunch at Hy-Vee following the hunt, until 1 p.m.
