Time is running out for the unsuspecting “victim” of the upcoming Murder Mystery Dinner on Saturday, Feb. 16, — and for those interested in attending this event who don’t have their tickets yet.

A limited number of tickets remain for Saturday’s event at the Floyd County Fairgrounds Youth Enrichment Center, which will serve as the annual Charles City Area Chamber of Commerce dinner and auction.

The evening will include a catered dinner by Dave’s Restaurant and a silent auction, in addition to the interactive dinner theatre.

The Valentine’s Week theme, “’Til Death Do Us Part,” encourages attendees to dress in their old or outlandish wedding attire as part of the fun. Everyone will be invited to help solve the mystery of “who dun it” after someone at the event turns up “murdered.”

A troupe of professional actors from The Murder Mystery Co. will produce the homicidal hijinks in a Clue-style manner that promises lots of audience participation, laughs and surprises.

Cocktail hour will begin at 5 p.m., with the buffet-style meal starting at 6. Tickets are available at the Chamber office, 401 North Main St. in Charles City, between the hours of 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. through Friday.

There will be no ticket sales at the door the night of the event.

Call the Chamber office at (641) 228-4234, email info@charlescitychamber.com or visit www.charlescitychamber.com for more information.
