Biden’s visit will be Wednesday at the Columbus Club

Joe Biden will be at the Columbus Club in Charles City Wednesday evening.

The former vice president and U.S. senator’s campaign announced the visit a week and a half ago, to take place beginning at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 4, in Charles City, but just announced the location over the weekend.

Doors for Biden’s “No Malarky” Iowa bus tour visit will open at 7 p.m. Wednesday at the Knight’s of Columbus hall at 502 Clark Street.

Biden is seeking the Democratic nomination for president, to run against President Donald Trump in the November 2020 election. The Iowa Caucuses will lead off the national party nominating process on Monday, Feb. 3.

Biden started the bus tour of 18 Iowa cities on Saturday in Council Bluffs, accompanied by his wife, Jill Biden, who traveled with him Saturday and Sunday before starting out on her own campaign swing through the state.

They will also appear together again for one more stop Tuesday in Mason City for a campaign event starting at 10:15 a.m. at the Historic Park Inn Ballroom.
