Charles City High School music groups jive and jazz

Charles City High School’s Instrumental Jazz Ensemble as well as the CCHS vocal groups 2JazzedUp and Rhymes With Orange performed at the Youth Enrichment Center at the Floyd County Fairgrounds on Tuesday during the annual “Jivin’ With Jazz” event. The groups were under the direction of Jacob Gassman and Derek Sturtevant. Patrons enjoyed some dinner and got to watch the groups perform in front of an audience for the first time all school year.
