Janice M. Kornegor

Janice M. Kornegor, 67, of Coldwater, Ohio, died on Saturday, Nov. 21, 2015 at St. Rita’s Medical Center in Lima, Ohio.

She was born Sept. 24, 1948 in Charles City, Iowa, to the late Virgil and Marcella (Cross) Drury. On Feb.

20, 1971 she married Russell D. Kornegor; he survives in Coldwater. She is also survived by four children, Kristi and Neil Fullerton of Rockford, Iowa, Rachel and Brad Schultz of Oregon, Wis., George and Kelly Kornegor and Matthew and Susan Kornegor, all of Coldwater; six grandchildren: Elizabeth and John Fullerton, Erin and Riley Schultz and Dean and Levi Kornegor; four siblings, Deanna and James Mallo of Rockford, Marilyn and Charles Johnson of Prole, Iowa, Bruce and Terry Carlson of Clear Lake, Iowa, and Tom Carlson of St. Angsar, Iowa; step-sister, Sharon Gwen of Austin, Minn. and in-laws Marlene and Gary Brallier of Rockford, David and Faye Paulus of Floyd, Iowa, Cathee and Jerry Anderson of Mason City, Iowa, and Midge Kornegor of Rockford.

She was also preceded in death by a brother-in-law, Donald Kornegor.

She was a member of Coldwater United Methodist Church and formerly a member of First United Methodist Church in Rockford.

Janice enjoyed gardening, baking bread, canning and volunteering in her younger years and loved visiting with family and friends in her later life.

A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 5, 2015 at the First United Methodist Church, Rockford. Friends are welcome to visit the family at their home in Coldwater at their convenience.
