James Ellis Lawless, 65, of North Las Vegas, Nev., formerly of Charles City, passed away Oct. 7, 2015.

A memorial service for James will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, April 4, 2016, at Immaculate Conception Church in Charles City with Father Gary Meyer officiating.

James is survived by his wife, Linda “Teri”; children: Murl (Brandi), Jamie (Laurie), Daniel (Kelly), Kari (John) and Kara (Marcus); 18 grandchildren; and five great grandchildren.
