Jacob Corey Schmidt

MASON CITY — Jacob Corey Schmidt, son of Corey and Julie Schmidt, was born silently on July 25, 2016 at the Mercy Medical Center of North Iowa in Mason City.

In addition to his parents, Jacob is survived by his brother, Ryan; his grandparents, Florence (fiancé Dave Borger) Dorenkamp of Mason City, Mike Dorenakmp of Mason City, and Craig and Pam Schmidt of Charles City; great-grandmother, Audrey (Frank) Friedhoff; uncles, John (Brenda) Dorenkamp of Altoona, Jason Dorenkamp of Mason City, and Cole Schmidt of Charles City; and seven cousins.

Jacob is preceded in death by several great-grandparents.
