Larry W. Pierce

Larry W. Pierce, 71, of Charles City, passed away Thursday, Oct. 10, 2019 at MercyOne North Iowa Medical Center in Mason City.

In agreement with his wishes, cremation will take place. A private committal service will take place at a later date.

Larry Wayne Pierce was born Feb. 3, 1948 to Marvin and Betty (Habben) Pierce in Decorah, Iowa. He graduated from Charles City High School in 1967. Larry served in the U.S. Army from 1968 until his honorable discharge in 1970.

Larry will be missed by his brother, Rick of Charles City; sister, Becky Knoll of Des Moines; and niece, Elizabeth Knoll of Des Moines.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
