Lloyd T. Schanfeld

Lloyd T. Schanfeld, 102, of Charles City, IA passed away on Monday, Jan. 6, 2020 at the New Hampton Nursing and Rehab Center. A memorial service will be held at a later date.

Lloyd spent most of his years as a farmer, drove school bus on the side for 10 years. He served in the Air Force during WWII.

Lloyd and Mildred were united in marriage on June 2, 1944. His loving wife Mildred worked in a nursing home as a medical aid. Mildred helped with Sunday school and also was a Foster Grandmother. She read the bible faithfully and enjoyed watching westerns on the TV.

Together Lloyd and Mildred had four girls: Sandra Rolfson and husband John of Minnesota, Judy Wessel and husband David of Charles City, Marcia Koenig and husband Gary of Wisconsin and Arliss Fisher and husband Michael of Cedar Rapids, IA.
