Funeral Services for Deborah L. Kock, 61, of Woodward (formerly of Marble Rock) will be 10:30 a.m., Monday, July 27, 2020 at the United Methodist Church in Marble Rock with Pastor Dennis Burns and Lay Minister Darwin Kock officiating. Burial will be in Sunnyside Memorial Gardens in Charles City next to her parents. Visitation will be 5–7 p.m, Sunday at Retz Funeral Home, 519 N. 1st Street, Greene.

Deborah was born March 25, 1959 and adopted at Homestead Air Force Base in Florida by her loving parents Alvin “Bud” and Betty (Hesse) Kock and died Thursday, July 23, 2020 at the Woodward Resource Center in Woodward, Iowa. She received her education in public schools wherever the family was stationed.

Deborah was of the Christian Faith and attended Lutheran congregations, she enjoyed many hobbies, did word search puzzles, art projects, and made latch hook rugs. Deborah very active in the Special Olympics where she was excellent at swimming.

She will be sadly missed by her daughter Beverly Lynn (Jon) Duncomb, Marble Rock; five grandchildren: Kaylah (Nick) Schweizer, Logan (Nace) Demaray, Jenna Knecht, Wesley Knecht, Caden Woltjer; two great-grandchildren: Jada and Blair Schweizer; Brother Gary E. Hesse, Marble Rock; two nephews: Nick (Liz) Hesse, Bettendorf, IA; Jon Hesse, Clarksville, IN.

Deborah was preceded in death by her parents.
