Jeremy Chatfield

Jeremy Chatfield, 41, of Floyd, passed suddenly and unexpectedly on Dec. 22, 2020 at MercyOne Hospital in Mason City.

A private graveside service will be held at Oakwood Cemetery in Floyd. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the family.

Jeremy Laverne Chatfield, the son of Jerry and Kathy (Koebrick) Chatfield, was born on Sept. 19, 1979 in Charles City. He was united in marriage to Lisa Shappell on June 5, 2004 and was a loving father to Tabitha Marie and Isabelle Rose.

Jeremy had many hobbies including video games, model building, and game master of role-playing games.

Living family members include his wife; daughters; father and mother; paternal grandfather and grandmother, Jerry Sr. and Fran (Goecken) Chatfield; brother, Andrew and sister-in-law, Amy (Hillesland); sister, Lindsay and brother-in-law, Matt Hatcher; and nieces: Kacie, Lena, and Emma.

He was preceded in death by maternal grandfather and grandmother, Raymond and Phyllis Colleen (Anderson) Koebrick.
