Roland Dant

Roland James Dant, age 82, of Forest Lake, MN passed away peacefully on May 27, 2021. He was born to James and Margaret (Barney) Dant on Oct. 22, 1938 in Washington, D.C. and grew up on a farm near Floyd, IA. Roland graduated from Floyd HS and Iowa State University and worked for Land O’Lakes for 30+ years. He built many beautiful things, loved boats and sailing, was always reading a book and had great stories to tell.

Roland is survived by his wife, Bonnie McKinney; children, Michael (David), Janet (Chris) Graham, Jack, Drease (Lori) McKinney; grandchildren, Monica and Paulina Graham, Kayla and Kasey McKinney; and brother, Roger (Bev).
