Renee Usher

Renee Christy Usher, 78, nee Michael, was born on July 22, 1943 to Roy Usher and Marion (Immel) Usher, and passed away on May 15, 2022.

A funeral service for Renee will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, May 23, 2022 at Hauser Weishaar Funeral Home with Pastor Anita Nuetzman from Saint John Evangelical Lutheran Church officiating. Burial will follow at Sunnyside Memory Gardens in rural Charles City.

A visitation will be held from 3-5 p.m. on Sunday, May 22 at Hauser Weishaar Funeral Home and continue one hour prior to the service on Monday at the funeral home.

Renee attended school in Charles City and Nashua, and joined the U.S. Navy where she met the love of her life, Mayetta Lesnick, in Costa Mesa, California. They were married on Sept. 5, 1965 in Costa Mesa. To this union, three children were born.

Renee worked at White Farm Equipment Company until they closed.

Mourning her death is her wife, Mayetta; daughter, Mary; and six grandchildren.

Renee was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Michelle Messer; son, Mark Usher; and grandson, Roy Usher.
