Comet, Warrior football games moved up due to impending weather

Due to forecasts that anticipate bad weather moving into the area late Friday evening, kickoffs for football games involving the Charles City Comets and the Rockford Warriors have been moved up.

Charles City’s home “Senior Night” game against Independence will start at 5 p.m.; Rockford’s away game against Tripoli will start at 5:30 p.m.
