42 ‘quartet’ leads Comet golfers past Indians
Press Staff Report
WAUKON — Someone had to be the low man for the Comets.
So when Tait Arndt, Skylar Houde, Atticus Parrott and Trevor White each shot 9-hole
scores of 42 in Tuesday’s Northeast Iowa Conference dual meet against hosting Waukon, they “carded back” the scores, which gave senior Arndt team honors.
The combined 168 team score was 10 strokes better than the Indians, who were led by Logan Houg’s medalist score of 40.
Both Charles City boys and girls teams are 3-0 this season a year after not playing their first match of season until mid-April.
