Edward Jones team captures 2019 Chamber Golf Outing title

CHARLES CITY — The foursome of Mark Sindlinger, Jessie Sindlinger, David Wandro and Michael Downey from Team Edward Jones fired a nine-hole score of 28 to win the Championship Flight of the 2019 Charles City Chamber Golf Outing, Tuesday at Wildwood Golf Course.
Championship Flight runner-up was the team of Lloyd Severin, Randy Brunner, Curt Joerger and Bruce Hovden, who collectively carded a 31.
The Farm Bureau Financial Team of Jay Jung, Devon Murray, Tom Bejelica and Ryan Miller took first place in the First Flight ahead of second-place winners Steve Diers, Dean Andrews, DeLaine Freeseman and Michael Hammond, representing the City of Charles City. Both teams shot a 36 in the four-person, best shot format.
A total of 15 teams took part in the fun, networking event put on annually by the Charles City Area Chamber of Commerce, which thanked the participants, sponsors and pin prize donors who contributed to the success of the event.
This was the 24th-annual outing, which has also taken place at Cedar Ridge Golf Course in alternating years.
