Forsyth to wrestle at ‘Border Battle’ meet
Charles City senior Bronson Forsyth celebrates with his teammates after winning a bout during the Comets’ annual “Saturday Night Wrestling Dual” with Osage. Forsyth’s win helped the Comets defeat their traditional non-conference rival during one of Charles City’s highlights from the past season — the Green Devils would later win the Class 2A State Wrestling Traditional Championship. Forsyth, who had more than 25 wins his senior season, will look to pick up a few more Friday (March 6) at Crestwood High School as he has been chosen to compete in the Iowa Wrestling Hall of Fame “Border Battle” featuring senior wrestlers from Northeast Iowa and Southeastern Minnesota. The meet starts at 7 p.m.
