Big Night for Mario and ‘Band of Brothers’
Comet senior Mario Hoefer (No. 4) returns a punt for big yardage thanks in part from a block from teammate Jalil Jones on Oelwein’s Alex Duffy. Hoefer had TD receptions of 60 and 70 yards while the helping the Comets to a 34-0 win over the Huskies. Charles City wore Camel-style uniforms in support of the Iowa National Guard and the United State Military.
