It was as if someone had poured out a bag of car-shaped Skittles onto the streets surrounding Central Park in Charles City Sunday afternoon.

Vehicles from restored classics to modern muscle in every color of the rainbow were lined up to be gawked at, reminisced over and coveted by several hundred people attending the Custom, Antique and Rod Association’s 2018 show.

The group gives proceeds from the show to area groups and organizations. Last year’s show resulted in donations to Messiah Food Pantry, PAWS, Floyd County Museum, Dollars for Scholars and the Charles City Arts Center.
