Lincoln Elementary students present Christmas music program

The third and fourth graders from Lincoln Elementary presented their Christmas music program Thursday evening, entitled “Once Upon a December,” at Comet Gym. The director was Alexis Finder.

The third and fourth graders sang ‘We’re Goin’ on a Sleigh Ride” by Greg Gilpin all together to open the show. The third grade then sang “Hot Cup of Cocoa” by the Van Trapp Children, Vogeljoy and Terry Neudorf.

The fourth grade then sang “Boogie Woogie Holiday” by Quaver’s Marvelous World of Music, with several students accompanying the vocalists on recorders. The Select Choir then performed “Ring Bells” by Emily Crocker and “Beautiful December” by Amy Bernon.

The show closed with the students expressing their musicality with scarves and ribbon sticks to they music of “Once Upon a December” from the movie “Anastasia.”
