The annual elementary school carnival was held at the Charles City High School gym and cafeteria Saturday evening, sponsored by the Elementary Parent Teacher Organization.
There were five inflatables and several games, a cake walk, prizes, a raffle and a concession stand.
Game prizes were provided by Casey’s, the Comet Bowl, Dairy Queen, Kwik Star and The Charles Theatre. Two bicycles were given away at the end of the night.
Raffle prizes were a 50-inch TV, a Traeger pellet grill, Comet athletic passes, a six-month online subscription to the Charles City Press, a $50 Hy-Vee meat bundle, a $30 Fareway meat bundle and a car wash card from Mike Molstead Auto. All funds raised from the raffle go back to the schools for field trips and school supplies.
