A group of students from the Charles City FFA Chapter, pictured, will be helping to provide flood relief for a family in Nebraska.

The students will be traveling to Schuyler, Nebraska, from April 5-7 to assist in recovery efforts with Drew Wolfe. Wolfe’s cattle and farming operation has been catastrophically devastated by the recent flooding, to the point many of his feedyards have been lost and cattle are still stranded.

The FFA is partnering with First Citizens Bank and KCHA radio for the flood relief trip. CCHS is accepting cash donations to help offset trip costs. On Wednesday this week, KCHA will be holding a call-in show with FFA members to take pledges from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. (Photo submitted.)
