Think spring and spending an entire day on Wildwood Golf Course in Charles City. It will cost you $20.

If you want to limit yourself to just nine holes, the green fee is $12.

Those and all the rest of the rates at Wildwood are the same as they were in 2015.

The Charles City Park and Recreation Board on Wednesday approved carrying those rates over, hoping to draw more golfers. The number of season tickets sold dropped in 2015 to 173 from 180 in 2014.

The board also carried over the fee schedule for reserving picnic shelters, ball fields and the riverfront amphitheater.

The Swim lesson rates will also continue at $25 per child with a $60 family maximum.

Something new this year will be a discount for groups that want to reserve two picnic shelters or the amphitheater and a picnic shelter. Rather than paying $50 for the two facilities at a time, groups can reserve two for $40 total.

The goal is to promote usage of the facilities, Park Board Chairman Bob Kloberdanz said.

In 2015, the city had 83 reservations for picnic shelters and six reservations for the amphitheater according to figures presented to the board Wednesday.

The swim lessons at Lions Park Pool attracted  214 participants.

Thirteen adult ball teams reserved city fields in 2015. The  fee is $125 per team for one night a week.
