CC man accused of sex crime

A Charles City man is facing  a third-degree sexual abuse charge, a class C felony in Floyd County District Court.

According to the criminal complaint filed Oct. 21 by Charles City Police, in early June of 2016 between the dates of June 8-14, Sean David Gordon “sexually assaulted a 14-year-old female. As the time of the incident Mr. Gordon was 23 years of age.”

He was arrested on a warrant Oct. 24.

Public Defender Nellie O’Mara was appointed to represent him.
