4:27 p.m. UPDATE — The missing child has been found, Bremer County Emergency Management reported Tuesday afternoon.

ORIGINAL STORY: Bremer County authorities are searching for a 12-year-old boy last seen near Plainfield School, the county’s emergency management page announced Tuesday afternoon.

The child has blond hair and freckles and was last seen wearing a green shirt, blue jeans and black tennis shoes. Those with any information on the child’s location are asked to call Bremer County Dispatch at 319-352-5400 ext. 3.
