Student musicians to tour Charles City this season

Music students with the Charles City Community School District will be sharing their musical talents this December with an additional 43 public performances throughout the community.

Students from the Charles City Elementary School, Charles City Middle School Band, and Charles City High School Choir, Orchestra, and Jazz Band will be performing in nursing homes, businesses, at service club meetings, and the Charles City Senior Center.

There are additional performances at other locations throughout the community such service clubs and nursing homes that are open to family members or guests.

Dec. 11

11:20 a.m.: Elementary school choir at the Charles City Senior Center

7:30 p.m.: Charles City High School Band and Orchestra concert at the North Grand auditorium, 500 North Grand

Dec. 13

9:15 a.m.: High school orchestra at First Security Bank & Trust

10 a.m.: High school orchestra at Aromas Coffee

10:30 a.m.: High school orchestra at McDonald’s

11:10 a.m.: High school orchestra at Hy-Vee

Dec. 14

9:20 a.m.: High school choir at First Security Bank & Trust

10 a.m.: High school choir at Aromas Coffee

10:40 a.m.: High school choir at McDonald’s

11:20 a.m.: High school choir at Hy-Vee

12 p.m.: High school choir at Comet Bowl

Dec. 15

12 p.m.: Middle school band at First Citizens National Bank

12:40 p.m.: Elementary school choir at First Citizens National Bank

1:20 p.m.: High school Orchestra at First Citizens National Bank

1:50 p.m.: High school choir at First Citizens National Bank

Dec. 19

4:30 p.m.: High school orchestra at McDonald’s
