180221_J_Jean Onken obitWilma Jean (Foxen) Onken, age 79, of Osage, died Sunday, February 18, 2018, at Mercy Medical Center North Iowa in Mason City.

A Funeral Mass will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 22, 2018, at Sacred Heart Parish Hall in Osage with Father Raymond Burkle officiating. Burial will be at St. Peter’s Cemetery in New Haven, Iowa. Visitation will be from 4:30 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at the Champion-Bucheit Funeral Home in Osage with a rosary at 4:45 p.m.

Jean is survived by her daughter, Betty (Lennis) Krones of Mason City; grandchildren, Magen Krones of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and William Krones of Mason City; several step-children, step-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren; sisters, Agnes Aringdale of Prescott, Arizona, and Norma “Jeannie” (Dave) Crandall of Ionia; brothers, Ed Foxen, Joe (Carole) Foxen and Jerome (Bev) Foxen, all of Charles City; sisters-in-law, Dolores Foxen and Phyllis Foxen, both of Charles City, and Donna Onken of Omaha, Nebraska; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Jim Onken in 2013; sister, Mary Ann Richards; brother, Matthew Foxen, Jr.; nephews, Jim Richards and Chad Foxen; niece, Sara Quigley; and several brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law.
