Red Kettle Society gives thanks

The Red Kettle Society of the Salvation Army would like to thank all of those who helped to make 2015 another successful Christmas season for donations.

This year, our dedicated Bell Ringers brought in $17,812.49. Ninety percent of which is distributed locally to needy persons and worthy causes. We can’t thank those who volunteered to ring the bells enough. Only through your generous contribution of hundreds of hours can the Red Kettle be so successful.

A very special “thank you” goes to Ace Hardware, Hy Vee, K-Mart and Theisen’s for allowing us to utilize their stores for the Red Kettle locations.

As usual, Floyd County residents have proved their generosity.
