Jane Frisbie
Jane Frisbie, 83, of Charles City, passed away Monday, January 20, 2025, at the Nora Springs Care Center in Nora Springs.
A funeral Mass for Jane Frisbie will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, Jan. 27, 2025, at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Charles City with Reverend Tom Heathershaw officiating. Burial will be at Riverside Cemetery in Charles City.

Visitation will be from 2-4 p.m. on Sunday, Jan. 26, 2025, at Hauser Weishaar Funeral Home in Charles City and will continue one hour before the service at the church on Monday. In lieu of flowers the family requests memorials be given to Immaculate Conception Catholic Church.
Jane Rosalie (Wright) Frisbie, the daughter of John Franklin and Helen Mary (Zacharda) Wright, was born Dec. 22, 1941, in Charles City. She received her education in Charles City and graduated from Charles City High School with the class of 1960.
Jane worked at JCPenney in Charles City for 29 years before beginning her second career as a Realtor. She worked for Joyce Hinz the majority of this time and John Jensen for a short time totaling 30 years in the real estate industry. Jane also tended bar at the Moose Lodge in Charles City, which is where she met her second husband, James “Jim” Frisbie.
Jane and Jim were united in marriage on Feb. 12, 1994, at Saint John Evangelical Lutheran Church and two weeks later blessed Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. The couple made their home in Charles City. Jane was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. She was also a member of the Goldwing Road Riders with Jim. She loved riding the motorcycle (they had a Goldwing trike and a Harley trike) with Jim and went on many fun road trips even attending Sturgis seven times together. The couple also attended the Davis Rally in New Hampton.
Living family members include her husband, James “Jim”; two sons: Jason (Maria) Boge of Waterloo and Vincent Boge of Charles City; two step-daughters: Heather (Ted) Grevelis of Rochester, Minnesota and Machelle Frisbie of Rollingstone, Minnesota; six grandchildren: Megan Boge, Mitchel Boge, Andrew Frisbie, Rylan Frisbie, Katelyn Frisbie and Madeline Frisbie; brother, John James (Mary) Wright of Cedar Rapids; her beloved yellow lab, Lilly; along with other family members and friends.
Jane was preceded in death by her parents.
