Charles City High School announces prom court

Charles City High School announced the senior prom court on Tuesday. The junior and senior prom “Night of a Thousand Lights” will take place Saturday, April 21.

King candidates are Cade Hemesath, Elliott Gebel, Tyreque Baker, Ryan Wolfe and Elias King.

Queen candidates are Sydney Loeckle, Makayla Nierling, Marissa Deeter, Rylee Hageman and Mackenzie Wilson.

The doors for prom will open at 6:30 p.m. and the Grand March starts at 7:30 p.m. in the Comet Gym. After the Grand March, the dance will run from 8:30 p.m. to midnight in the high school/middle school Gym 2.

The After-Prom event will be from midnight to 3:30 a.m. in the Comet Gym, featuring a game of “Family Feud” with a special celebrity host scheduled for 1:30 a.m.
