“You’re A Good Man, Charlie Brown” has been announced as the Charles City High School fall musical, along with announcing the members of the cast and crew.

The show will be presented over four dates – 7 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 3, and Friday, Nov. 4, and 1 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 5, and Sunday, Nov. 6.

“Because the cast is so small, we decided to double cast a couple of the leads and the ensemble,” said director Michelle Grob. “So Cast 1 will perform on Thursday and Saturday and Cast 2 will perform on Friday and Sunday.”

The cast is Anders Haglund as Charlie Brown, Teagan Prigge and Harper McInroy as Lucy, Blake Hoeft and Breyer Ellison as Linus, Jacob Diers as Schroeder, Sophia Jensen as Sally and Kaity Heckers as Snoopy.

The ensemble cast consists of DaShawn Griffin, Lillie Morhing, Jenna Aikey, Ellie Gassman, Sydney Hinz, Gracie Opp, Sydney Otto, Savannah Baldus, Elise White and Andrew White.

Members of the crew are Hannah DeVore, Kirah Vickerman, Jadince Schuttler, Katie Prichard, Zadie Pittman, Evee Reed, Natalie Keyes, Annabel McDonald, Addison Tracey, Reegan Severin, Keyrra Flowers, Emily Jones, Ella Jones, Kali Jones, Caden Baker and Aden Linde.

The musical is being directed by Derek Sturtevant as head musical director, Michelle Grob as drama director, and Erika Joiner as assistant director. It will be presented at the Charles Theatre.

“You’re A Good Man, Charlie Brown” is based on the comic strip “Peanuts,” by Charles M. Schulz, and follows the lives of the characters as they play baseball, struggle with homework, sing songs and celebrate the joy of friendship.
