Ikes set up for Christmas Tree sale

The Charles City Ikes are all set for this year’s Christmas tree sale fundraiser.

One of the two largest fundraisers of the year to support the Ikes’ conservation activities, the group has set up about 85 freshly cut fir trees to be sold this weekend.

“All the money is used in local conservation projects,” said Ikes President Dave Nehls.

The Christmas Trees will be available to purchase on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday until they are gone.

“Usually we sell out,” said Nehls.
