Charles City Farmers Market season opens Saturday, May 4

The 2024 Charles City Farmers Market season opens Saturday, May 4, at 9 a.m. in Central Park along Blunt Street.

The market is open Saturdays from 9 a.m. to noon and Wednesdays from 3:30 to 6 p.m. with assortments of fresh produce, baked goods, plants and flowers, honey, craft items and more often available from local producers.

Anyone interested in being a vendor at the market is encouraged to contact Mark Wicks at the Main Street Charles City Office, which helps to administer the Farmers Market. Call 641-228-2335 or email mark@charlescitychamber.com for more information.
