Lincoln Elementary glows for Family Fun Night

There was plenty glowing on at Lincoln Elementary on Thursday, April 10, as the school invited students and their families out for its annual Family Fun Night.
“It’s very much a night to come and have fun as a family,” said third grade teacher Katelyn Stultz, who spearheaded the evening event.
Students and their families roamed the halls of the school to enjoy games and activities including math challenges, card games and maker spaces.
“All the classrooms are a different activity,” said Stultz.
In between activities, families could also stop at the cafeteria for a bite to eat provided by A Shred Above.
Last year’s family night event drew in 99 elementary students and their families. Stultz hoped to beat that number this year with neon novelties.
“The back end of our building is lit with black lights and games that glow,” said Stultz.
Glow light board games, glowing writing rooms, and coding hopscotch were among the activities set up in the classrooms, but the big draw of the evening was in the gymnasium where kids played Cosmic Bowling.
