‘Grab a Job’ at the Charles City Public Library

IowaWORKS has announced an upcoming event, “Grab a Job,” scheduled for Friday, June 21, from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. at the Charles City Public Library.

‘Grab a Job’ at the Charles City Public LibraryThe event aims to connect job seekers with resources and opportunities in the local job market.

Attendees will have the chance to meet with an IowaWORKS career planner to provide personalized career guidance and help map out a path to their next job.

“Whether you’re looking to start a new career, advance in your current field, or explore different opportunities, our career planner can offer expert advice and support tailored to your individual needs,” said Todd Oesterle, Iowa WORKS operations manager.

In addition to career planning, the event will feature folders filled with job openings from local employers.

“These folders will include a variety of positions across different industries, making it easier for job seekers to find opportunities that match their skills and interests,” Oesterle said.

The “Grab a Job” event is free and open to the public, and no prior registration is required.

“We encourage all job seekers in the community to take advantage of this valuable opportunity to network, receive professional career advice and discover local job openings,” Oesterle said.
