Visitation will be held from 1-3 p.m. at Hauser Weishaar Funeral Home on Saturday, Dec. 14, 2024.

Ayden Alexander Stafford (our little Aydo potato), the son of Jesse Stafford and Mina Aghaei, was born Aug. 8, 2007, in Indianapolis, Indiana. Ayden had a very mellow, but witty, personality. If his smile didn’t make you love him, his sarcasm and laugh would!

Ayden tried many things during his school career. He played trumpet, ran cross country and track, and participated in Robotics Club. Ayden was an excellent student who achieved straight A’s. He had already been accepted into the UNI University Honors Program for fall of 2025. Ayden was also a hard worker who detasseled corn in the summer and helped at the YMCA (where he was a member).

Ayden’s activity of choice was definitely gaming on the Xbox and computer (games like Elden Ring, Overwatch, and Halo Wars). We think he was pretty good at it because he spent a great amount of time playing and he never gave up! Ayden also started drawing Manga and loved to read many books (he had a huge collection of different series).

Ayden cared for everyone and was always willing to help with anything. The weight he carried has now been lifted. His friends were most important to him!

Living family members include his mother, Mina Aghaei; two brothers: Liam and Levi Finney; sister, Ally Finney; grandparents, Peggy and Ray Aghaei; two uncles: Sam (Brook) Siemons and Amir Aghaei; cousins: Azalea Moser, Arianna Aghaei, and Kayanna Siemons; along with a special group of friends: Ellie Gassman, Toriq Satrio, Jose Flores, Mikey Bauer, Mikyla Sellers, Chase Townsend, and Xander McHenry.

Ayden was preceded in death by his father, Jesse Stafford; cousin, Bobby Sides; two great-uncles: Delbert and Mike Moser; and great-grandparents, Marvin and Helen Moser.

Hauser Weishaar Funeral Home, (641) 228-2323, 1205 South Main Street, Charles City, Iowa 50616 is in charge of local arrangements. Online condolences may be left on the Tribute Wall for the family at www.hauserfh.com.
