Sally Sperry Lebeck

Sally Sperry Lebeck, 83, of Urbandale, passed away peacefully with family by her side at Bickford of Urbandale on Feb. 13, 2025.

The visitation will be 11 a.m. to 12 p.m., Saturday, March 1, 2025, at Memorial Services of Iowa in Ankeny (4208 N. Ankeny Blvd). A memorial service will follow at 12 p.m. also at the funeral home. Sally was born in Mason City, Iowa, Sept. 15, 1941, graduated from Charles City High School, and attended secretarial school in Omaha, Nebraska. She went to work for the CIA and later retired from the State of Iowa. She married Bob Lebeck in 1985. Sally loved her family, music and dancing, and traveling. Bob and Sally enjoyed 25 years of retirement in Sun City West, Arizona before returning to Iowa in 2019.

Mrs. Lebeck is survived by stepdaughters Sharon (Jim) Rasmussen and Cris Olson (Bill Skrei), sons Bill (Emiley) Hickok, Brad Hickok, Bob (Lori) Hickok, and Brian Hickok, seven grandchildren Rachel Rasmussen, Andrew (Brooke) Rasmussen, Hannah Rasmussen, Lisa (Kacey) Anderson, Adam Lebeck, Chloe Hickok and Cody Hickok, great-grandchildren Knox and Briley Anderson, sister Nancy (Dick) Dommel and nieces Zoe Dommel and Jill (Rick) Avery.

Sally is preceded in death by her parents, Dick and June Sperry; husband, Bob Lebeck; and stepson, Brian Lebeck.
