Jean ‘Jeannie’ Lytle
Jean “Jeannie” Lytle, 71, of Charles City, passed away Saturday, March 29, 2025, at her home.
A funeral Mass for Jeanie Lytle will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, April 5, 2025, at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Charles City with Reverend Tom Heathershaw officiating. Inurnment will be at Calvary Cemetery in Charles City.

A gathering of family and friends will be held one hour before the service at the church on Saturday.
Jean “Jeannie” Marie Lytle, the daughter of Edmer Hebert and Mary Ann (Busch) Hebert-Baldwin, was born May 24, 1953, in Charles City, Iowa. She received her education at Immaculate Conception School in Charles City and graduated from Charles City High School in 1971.
Jeannie was united in marriage to Gene Alfred Lytle on April 14, 1973, in Charles City. The couple was blessed with one son, Jamie.
Living family members include her son, Jamie (Jennifer) Lytle of Severance, Colorado; three grandchildren: Zakiyah Zeiter, Exzayvier White and Zayden Lytle; mother, Mary Ann Hebert-Baldwin of Charles City; two sisters: Sandra Kirchhof of Woodbury, Minnesota and Sara (Dennis) Joens of Dunkerton; three brothers: Steven (DeAnn) Hebert of Madrid, David (Mary) Hebert of Ankeny and Michael Hebert of Surprise, Arizona; three sisters-in-law: Trudy Kachinski, Diane Silverstein and Linda Rausch; brother-in-law, Roger Wessels; along with numerous nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.
Jeannie was preceded in death by her husband, Gene, on Dec. 4, 2012; father, Edmer Hebert; sister, Margaret Ann (Martin) Hoyt; and brother, Daniel John Hebert.
