SATURDAY, OCT. 24

4th annual Czech concert sponsored by Mitas Tires North America, beginning at 4 p.m.

at the Trinity United Methodist Church. Invited guests are the Luther College Piano Quartet. A small punch and cookie reception will follow the performance. A free will donation will be at the doors of the event and at the reception. Proceeds will go to Trinity United Methodist Church & Floyd County Friends of Cancer.

2015 Chucktown BrewFest, 6-9 p.m., Columbus Club. Featuring six Iowa craft beers, food, collectible glasses, silent auction, trivia and Hammerschlagen.

Tickets: $25 each, available at the Community Development Office, 401 N. Main St., 641-228 2335 Charles City Lions Club Book Sale, 9 a.m. to noon, Otto’s Oasis in Charles City, 1313 Gilbert St.

Donations will be accepted at the sale. Please no National Geographics, text books or encyclopedias.

12th annual Clarksville Craft Expo, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., Clarksville Community School. Free admission. 75 exhibitors, food vendors, free parking.

YMCA Spook Run 5K. Begins at the YMCA at 9:00am. Cost of the race is $30 and this includes a long sleeve shirt and light breakfast. Costumes are encouraged, but not required!

Registration is going on now at the YMCA. Race day registrations will be accepted, but a shirt is not guaranteed. Please call Jaime at 641-228-2254 for more information.
