Narcotics seized after search warrant executed at Charles City residence

A search warrant executed at 2 p.m. Tuesday  in the 400 block of 1st Avenue in Charles City turned up narcotics, according to Police Department Captain Brandon Franke.

The search warrant was part of an active investigation and charges are pending for two individuals that were at the residence. Franke did not disclose the nature of the drugs or the amount seized. He said the investigation is ongoing.

“That’s about all I can say at this point. Once we get further in and charges are filed, then I can obviously say more,” said Franke.
