‘Family Bingo Night’ at Senior Center Jan. 28

Charles City Senior Citizens are happy to offer a “Family Bingo Night” during Cabin Fever weekend at the Senior Center. It will be held Saturday evening, Jan. 28.

For Bingo players a Free light meal will begin to be served at 5:30, followed by early bird Bingo at 6:30. Regular Bingo will begin at 7 p.m.

“We’re hoping to have lots of kids coming,” Julie Miller, coordinator for the Bingo, said. “It should be a fun time for families to enjoy together.”

Children should be accompanied by an adult.

A small packet of 17 games costs $5. Early birds with 3 Bingos on a sheet cost $1, Speedos which are Blackouts cost 50 cents apiece. The last Bingo of the evening ends with a jackpot of $500 within 58 numbers.”

“It’s always thrilling when someone wins the $500,” stated Ken Elliott, president of the Senior Citizens.

Everyone is welcome to come in where it’ll be nice and warm, to enjoy a free lunch and play Bingo. There will be people to help those who’ve never done such before. Also remember there is handicapped accessibility on the back side (Hulin Street) of the Senior Center.
