Dominic Linde

Dominic Austin Linde, 23, of Mason City, passed away Thursday, June 28, 2018 at home.

A funeral service for Dominic Linde will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, July 6, 2018 at The Bridge Church in Charles City with Pastor Patty Kellogg officiating. Burial will be at Riverside Cemetery in Charles City.

Visitation will be at Hauser Funeral Home from 5-7 p.m. Thursday, July 5, 2018 and will continue one hour before the service at the church on Friday.

Dominic Austin Linde was born Feb. 25, 1995 in Charles City. He was the oldest of four children born to Matthew Linde and Michelle Kwilasz. He received his education in Charles City, graduating from Charles City High School in 2013.

Dominic worked for three years at Mehmert Tiling in Saratoga, Iowa as a tile locator. For the last two years, he was employed at Martin Brower as a warehouse worker.

Dominic loved working on his project cars and riding his BMX bikes. He enjoyed music and loved spending time with family and friends. Dominic had hopes of going to school to become a diesel mechanic in the near future.

Living family members include his fiancée, Maranda Hadacek; parents: Matthew (Tonia) Linde and Michelle Kwilasz (Mummzy his term of endearment) and her fiancé Corey Fisher; siblings: Cassidie Linde (Brandon Parks), Becca Linde, Jordan Linde, Mercedes (Levi) Wolf, Trey Tynan and Camry Linde; paternal grandparents: Marrian Linde, Ervin (Judy) Linde and DuWayne (Lynette) Paulsen; maternal grandparents, Mike (Dee) Kwilasz; three nieces: Riley Parks, Alivia Parks and Emma Wolf; along with many aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Beverly Viet; uncle, Josh Nelson; and cousin, Justin White.
