Letter to the Editor: God loves everyone, even atheists

What a great moment for Justin Scott at the Statehouse as he gave the atheist “prayer.” I wonder who he was praying to.

Christians know the God they pray to. He created the heavens and the earth and everything in it. It was God who molded man in his own image and breathed life into him. We take a look at our own bodies and how wonderfully we are made and we know there is a God.

Christians also know that there is life after death for those who believe that God gave his son to die on the cross for all of our sins, including the atheists’ sins. We look forward to going to heaven after our earthly death.

God has given us a choice whether to believe or not. We can choose heaven or we can choose hell. The Christian chooses heaven.

God loves everyone and I hope someday Justin Scott will choose God.
